The Aamir-starrer picked up for distribution there in 2011
France-based production and distribution company Studio Canal will distribute the Aamir Khan starrer '3 Idiots' there in June next year.
"We distributed videos of '3 Idiots' in the UK and we will distribute the film in France probably around June 2011," Rodolphe Buet, executive vice president, international distribution and new business of Studio Canal, said. Buet was in Mumbai for the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image (MAMI) event.
Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Rajkumar Hirani, '3 Idiots' was one of the biggest hits of 2009. It also starred R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Kareena Kapoor in important roles.
